Pollok Country Park

Overview

Pollok Country Park is a 360-acre estate on Glasgow's south side, repeatedly voted Britain's Best Park. It features ancient woodland, formal gardens, Highland cattle, and two major attractions.

History

The Pollok estate was home to the Maxwell family for over 700 years before being gifted to the city in 1966. It was designated a Country Park in 1967.
