Barrowland Ballroom is one of the most celebrated live music venues in the world. Its famous neon sign on the Gallowgate is iconic, and the sprung dance floor creates an electric gig atmosphere.
Built in 1934 by Margaret McIver (founder of the Barras market), destroyed by fire in 1958, and rebuilt in 1960. It transitioned to live music in the 1980s.
