The Jardins de S'Hort del Rei (King's Garden) are a small, elegant set of gardens tucked below the Almudaina Palace. Inspired by Moorish garden design, they feature fountains, arcaded pergolas, and a famous bronze sculpture by Alexander Calder.
These gardens originally served as the kitchen gardens and orchards of the Royal Palace during the medieval period. They fell into disrepair over the centuries and were redesigned in their current Moorish-revival style during the 1960s restoration.
