BilbaoArte is an artist residency and exhibition space in the Casco Viejo, housed in a converted factory. Run by the Bilbao City Council, it provides studio space for emerging artists and a public gallery showcasing their work — a behind-the-scenes look at Bilbao's creative ecosystem.

History

Founded in 2001, BilbaoArte occupies a former industrial building in the Atxuri neighbourhood. It supports up to 30 artists at a time, offering studios, workshops, and exhibition opportunities.
