Möllevången ("Mölle" to locals) is Malmö's most multicultural neighborhood, centered on the lively Möllevångstorget market square. It is renowned for its diverse food scene, including some of Sweden's best falafel.
Named after a medieval windmill (mölle means mill), the neighborhood developed into a workers' district in the 19th century. Post-war immigration transformed it into one of Sweden's most ethnically diverse areas, with over 100 nationalities represented.
