Hagabadet is a historic bathhouse in the Haga district, operating since 1876. Behind its ornate Art Nouveau façade lies a modern wellness centre with pools, saunas, a Turkish bath, flotation tanks, and spa treatments — a quintessential Swedish bathing experience in a stunning architectural setting.
Hagabadet was established in 1876 as a public bath — an important social institution when few homes had running water. The current Art Nouveau building dates from a 1902 renovation by architect Hans Hedlund. After decades of decline, it was restored in the early 2000s and repositioned as a premium spa and wellness destination.
