Belgrade Waterfront is a large-scale mixed-use development along the right bank of the Sava River. Featuring a modern promenade, the Galerija shopping mall, and the landmark Kula Belgrade tower (168 m), it represents the most ambitious urban renewal project in Serbia's history.
The project, launched in 2014 as a joint venture between the Serbian government and Eagle Hills (UAE), replaced disused railway yards along the Sava. It has been both praised for modernizing the waterfront and criticized for displacement and opaque land deals. Construction is ongoing through the 2020s.
