The Wereldmuseum (World Museum) explores global cultures through a collection of over 85,000 ethnographic objects from Asia, Oceania, Africa, and the Americas. Housed in a 19th-century building on the Veerhaven.
Founded in 1883 as the Museum of Geography and Ethnology. Part of the National Museum of World Cultures since 2014 (alongside Amsterdam's Tropenmuseum and Leiden's Museum Volkenkunde). Housed in the former Royal Yacht Club building since 1961.
