De Rotterdam is a 150-metre-tall mixed-use complex designed by Rem Koolhaas / OMA, completed in 2013. Three interconnected towers shift at different heights, creating a vertical city housing offices, apartments, a hotel, and restaurants.
Koolhaas first conceived the building in 1997, but construction didn't begin until 2009 due to the financial crisis. Completed in 2013 and named after the city itself, it symbolizes Rotterdam's post-war spirit of rebuilding bigger and bolder.
