Strossmayer Promenade (Strossmayerovo šetalište) is a scenic walkway along the southern edge of Gornji Grad offering panoramic views over the Lower Town's rooftops and church spires. Street musicians, artists, and café terraces make it one of Zagreb's most atmospheric spots.
The promenade was created in the 19th century along the medieval Gradec fortification walls. Named after Bishop Josip Juraj Strossmayer, a key figure in Croatian cultural revival, it has been a beloved walking route for generations.
