Anthony Quinn Bay is a small, rugged cove near Faliraki with crystalline emerald water so clear you can see the rocky bottom from metres above. It's one of the most photogenic swimming spots on Rhodes.
The bay was originally called Vagies. It was renamed after the actor Anthony Quinn, who bought land nearby during the filming of "The Guns of Navarone" in 1961. Quinn fell in love with the area's wild beauty, though his land purchase was later disputed.
