Elia Beach

Overview

Elia is the longest sandy beach on Mykonos — a broad sweep of fine golden sand with calm, shallow turquoise water. It's quieter than Paradise and Super Paradise while still offering full services including sunbeds, water sports, and beachside dining.

History

Elia has been a popular bathing spot since tourism developed on Mykonos in the 1970s. Its size and accessibility (it's the last stop on the south-coast bus route) made it a natural alternative to the busier party beaches.

• Bus Access: The last stop on the Mykonos Town–south coast bus route.
• Eastern End: The far east of the beach is usually quietest.
• Duration: 2–4 hours.
