St Michael's Bridge (Sint-Michielsbrug) is the most photographed spot in Ghent — the only point where all three of the city's medieval towers (St Nicholas' Church, the Belfry, and St Bavo's Cathedral) appear aligned in a single view.
The current stone bridge was built in 1905–09, replacing an earlier wooden structure. St Michael's Church (1440) stands adjacent. The three-tower view has been Ghent's signature image since the early 20th century.
