The Slovenian Ethnographic Museum (Slovenski etnografski muzej) is an engaging, family-friendly museum in the former Belgian Barracks. Its interactive permanent exhibition, "Between Nature and Culture," explores Slovenian folk traditions, crafts, and daily life across centuries.
The museum's roots go back to 1821, though the current institution was formally established in 1923. It moved to the renovated Belgian Barracks near Metelkova in 2004.
