History
Built in 1896 at the Rickmers shipyard in Bremerhaven, the three-masted barque sailed cargo routes across the globe for two decades. After serving as a Portuguese naval training vessel (renamed Sagres), it was returned to Hamburg in 1983 and restored as a museum ship.
