Rheinpark is a 40-hectare riverside park on the right bank of the Rhine in Cologne-Deutz. Originally created for the 1957 Federal Garden Show, it offers sweeping views of the cathedral skyline, playgrounds, and the departure point for the Rhine cable car.
The park was designed by landscape architect Günther Schulze for the 1957 Bundesgartenschau and expanded for the 1971 show. Its curving pathways and terraced gardens follow mid-century modernist landscape principles.
