The Flora and Botanical Garden combines a restored 19th-century event palace with 11.5 hectares of themed gardens and greenhouses. It is Cologne's oldest public garden, home to over 10,000 plant species.
Founded in 1864 by Peter Joseph Lenné, the garden was one of the first public botanical collections in Germany. The Flora Palace was rebuilt after WWII damage and extensively renovated in 2014.
