The Sea Point Promenade is an 11-kilometre paved walkway hugging Cape Town's Atlantic coastline from the V&A Waterfront to Bantry Bay. It's the city's premier recreational strip — a constant parade of joggers, dog walkers, families, and sundowners.
The promenade was developed in phases from the early 2000s as part of the City of Cape Town's urban renewal programme. It has become the most democratic public space in the city — used by people of all backgrounds at all hours.
