Overview
The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is the solemn resting place of Vietnam's founding president Ho Chi Minh (1890–1969). Modelled on Lenin's Mausoleum in Moscow, this grey granite structure draws millions of visitors annually.

History
Completed in 1975 against Ho Chi Minh's wishes — he had requested a simple cremation. Soviet specialists assisted with embalming.
Visitor Tips
- Strict rules: No photography inside, no shorts or sleeveless shirts.
- Seasonal closure: Closes for about two months yearly (usually Oct–Nov) for preservation.
- Duration: 30–45 minutes including queuing.
