Overview
The Bellagio Fountains are a choreographed water feature set in an 8.5-acre lake fronting the Bellagio resort on the Las Vegas Strip. Over 1,200 nozzles shoot water up to 460 feet in the air, synchronized to music and light.
Highlights
- Choreography: Each show is uniquely programmed with songs ranging from Sinatra to Bocelli to contemporary pop.
- Evening Shows: After dark, 4,500 lights add dramatic color effects to the water display.
- Free Viewing: The entire show is visible from the Strip sidewalk — no ticket needed.
History
Designed by WET Design, the fountains debuted with the Bellagio's opening in 1998. The system cost approximately $40 million and uses 22 million gallons of water from an underground well.
