Parque de la Reserva is a historic public park dating from 1929 that gained worldwide fame after the installation of the Circuito Mágico del Agua in 2007. Beyond the fountain circuit, the park features neoclassical monuments, gardens, and walkways.
The park was created in 1929 to honor the reserve soldiers who fought in the War of the Pacific (1879–1883). After decades of neglect, the 2007 installation of the Circuito Mágico del Agua transformed it into one of Lima's most visited destinations.
