History

The original small temple was built in 1801 by Laxman Vithu and Deubai Patil, funded entirely by a local woman's savings. The current grand structure with its golden spire was rebuilt in the 1990s following massive donations from wealthy devotees.

• Paid Darshan: A paid queue (₹200) significantly shortens wait times.
