Victoria Peak is the highest point on Hong Kong Island at 552 metres and the city's most visited attraction. The summit offers breathtaking panoramic views of the harbour, Kowloon, and the surrounding islands.

History

The Peak has been the most prestigious address in Hong Kong since the colonial era, when a 1904 ordinance reserved the summit for European residents. The Peak Tram has undergone six generations of upgrades, most recently in 2022.

• Beat the queue: Take the Peak Tram during weekday mornings or after 8 PM.
• Alternative access: Bus 15 from Central or minibus 1 from Hong Kong station.
• Duration: 1.5–2.5 hours.
