M+ is Asia's first global museum of contemporary visual culture, occupying a striking 65,000-square-metre building designed by Herzog & de Meuron in the West Kowloon Cultural District.

History
The M+ project was conceived in 2006 as the centrepiece of the HK$21.6-billion West Kowloon Cultural District. The museum opened on 12 November 2021.
