Overview
Grouse Mountain is a 1,231-metre peak on Vancouver's North Shore, accessible by the Skyride aerial tramway. It offers year-round outdoor activities with spectacular panoramic views of the city, ocean, and surrounding mountains.

History
Recreational use dates to 1894. The first aerial tramway opened in 1966, and the current Skyride was installed in 1976. The mountain served as the snowboard, freestyle skiing, and skeleton venue during the 2010 Winter Olympics.
Visitor Tips
- Grouse Grind vs. Skyride: Hikers can trek up the Grouse Grind (2.9 km, ~1.5 hours) for free, but must buy a one-way Skyride ticket down ($15).
- Winter Sports: Skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, and ice skating in winter.
- Duration: 3–5 hours.
