Bonifacius Bridge is a small, ornamental stone footbridge behind the Church of Our Lady, spanning a narrow canal with views of ivy-covered walls, Gothic windows, and overhanging trees. Despite its medieval appearance, the bridge was actually built in 1910.
Contrary to popular belief, the bridge is not medieval — it was constructed in 1910 in a deliberately antiquated style. It is named after Saint Boniface, though the connection is purely nominal.
