The Belgian Beer Experience is an interactive museum on the Markt dedicated to Belgium's UNESCO-listed beer culture. Through touch screens, scent stations, and an informative tasting, visitors explore the brewing traditions behind trappist ales, lambics, and gueuzes.

History

Opened in 2017, the experience was created to celebrate Belgium's beer culture, inscribed on UNESCO's Intangible Cultural Heritage list in 2016. Belgium has over 1,500 distinct beers.
