Overview
The National Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall is a grand memorial dedicated to the founding father of the Republic of China, set within an 11-hectare park that offers one of the best ground-level views of Taipei 101.

History
Completed in 1972 and designed by renowned architect Wang Da-hong, the building's sweeping curved roof represents traditional Chinese palace architecture reimagined in modernist form.

- Guard Ceremony: Less crowded than CKS Memorial but equally impressive — every hour on the hour.
- Park Jogging: The surrounding Zhongshan Park is popular with joggers, especially at sunset.
