MBK Center (Mah Boon Krong) is an eight-floor bargain mall that has been a Bangkok shopping institution since 1985. With over 2,000 stalls and shops, it is the go-to place for affordable phones, fashion, accessories, and souvenirs.

History

Opened in 1985, MBK was named after the rice trading company Mah Boon Krong. It was one of Asia's first mega-malls and remains one of Bangkok's most visited shopping destinations with over 100,000 visitors daily.
