Chatuchak Weekend Market is one of the world's largest outdoor markets, covering 35 acres with over 15,000 stalls and 200,000+ visitors every weekend. It sells everything from vintage clothing and handmade crafts to antiques, plants, and pets.

History
The market was established in 1942 under Prime Minister Plaek Phibunsongkhram. It moved to its current Chatuchak location in 1982 when the original Sanam Luang site was reclaimed for ceremonies.
Visitor Tips
- Map: Pick up a free map at the information kiosk (Section 1) — it is easy to get lost.
- Open Saturday–Sunday only: 09:00–18:00 (some stalls open Friday evening).
- Duration: 2–4 hours depending on your shopping stamina.
