Chatuchak Park is a 40-acre green space adjacent to the famous Chatuchak Weekend Market. It provides a shaded respite from the market's heat and crowds, with gardens, a clock tower, and a small lake.
Opened in 1980, the park was created by the State Railway of Thailand on land it owned near the Mo Chit train depot. It was originally called Suan Chatuchak.
