KLCC Park is a 20-hectare landscaped urban oasis designed by the late Roberto Burle Marx, spread at the foot of the Petronas Twin Towers. Its centrepiece is a massive lake with choreographed fountain shows, surrounded by jogging tracks, playgrounds, and 1,900 indigenous trees.
Opened in 1998 alongside the Petronas Towers, the park was designed by Brazilian landscape architect Roberto Burle Marx as one of his final projects. It replaced an old horse-racing track.
