A 1-hectare botanical garden created by French painter Jacques Majorelle starting in 1923. Its signature cobalt-blue structures, cacti, bamboo groves, and water features make it one of Morocco's most visited sites.
Jacques Majorelle spent 40 years creating the garden. After his death it fell into neglect until YSL and Pierre Bergé purchased and restored it in 1980.
