Sky Lagoon is a premium oceanside geothermal infinity pool on the Kársnes peninsula, just 15 minutes from central Reykjavík. Its signature seven-step spa ritual—alternating between heat, cold, and relaxation—draws on centuries of Icelandic bathing tradition.

History

Opened in 2021, Sky Lagoon was designed by Pursuit and Basalt Architects to offer a more intimate, design-forward alternative to the Blue Lagoon. It quickly became one of Reykjavík's most popular attractions.
