Croke Park is the spiritual home of Gaelic games — a 82,300-capacity stadium and headquarters of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA). The stadium tour and GAA Museum offer a fascinating window into Ireland's unique indigenous sports: hurling and Gaelic football.
The GAA purchased the Jones's Road sports ground in 1913. On Bloody Sunday, 21 November 1920, British forces opened fire on spectators during a football match, killing 14 people — an event commemorated at the ground.
