The Hakone Sightseeing Cruise operates ornate replica pirate ships across Lake Ashi, connecting Togendai Port with Hakone-machi and Moto-Hakone. The theatrical vessels offer a whimsical way to cross the scenic crater lake.

The Hakone Sightseeing Cruise began operations in 1964. The current fleet of elaborate pirate-themed ships dates from various years, with the Royal II launched in 2013 as the latest and most ornate vessel.
