Gora Park is a French-inspired park perched on a hillside in the Gora district of Hakone. Opened in 1914, it features a symmetrical European-style garden layout, a tropical greenhouse, and seasonal flower gardens against the backdrop of the surrounding mountains.
Opened in 1914 during the Taisho era, the park was designed as a Western-style garden — reflecting Japan's fascination with European aesthetics at the time. It has been continuously maintained and expanded, with the craft house added in later years.
