Overview

The Highline Galleria is a glass-floored walkway running along the rooftop of the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, offering a unique bird's-eye perspective directly above the gallery's famous glass dome.

History

The rooftop was closed to the public for over a century until it was opened as a visitor attraction in 2015. The walkway follows the original maintenance paths used by engineers during the gallery's construction.

• Vertigo Warning: The glass floor sections can be disorienting; not recommended for those with a fear of heights.
• Evening Visits: Open late in summer with atmospheric lighting along the walkway.
