The Conservatory and Botanical Garden of Geneva covers 28 hectares on the shores of Lake Geneva, with over 16,000 plant species and an extensive herbarium of six million specimens.

History

Founded in 1817, the garden moved to its current site near the Palais des Nations in 1904. Its herbarium is one of the world's most important.
