Stockholm City Hall (Stadshuset) is the city's most iconic building, its 106-metre tower topped by the Three Crowns symbol. The Blue Hall hosts the Nobel Banquet; the Golden Hall glitters with 18 million gold-leaf mosaic tiles.
Designed by Ragnar Östberg in National Romantic style, the city hall was completed in 1923. Its blend of Nordic romanticism and Italian influence created a Swedish architectural landmark.
