The Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) is Zaha Hadid's sweeping, alien-like landmark — a 86,574 m² complex of curves and flowing surfaces that has become Seoul's most photographed piece of contemporary architecture.
Completed in 2014 on the site of the old Dongdaemun Stadium, the DDP was the largest 3D-designed building in the world at the time. The construction uncovered ancient fortress walls, now displayed alongside.
