Overview

Parco della Rimembranza is a shaded pine park on the eastern tip of Venice, far from touristed areas. Created as a war memorial, it's where Venetians go for quiet walks, jogging, and peaceful lagoon views.

History

The park was created in 1921 as a memorial to the fallen of World War I, with trees planted to honor individual soldiers. Expanded over the decades, it remains Venice's largest green space.
