Overview

The Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC) is an architectural landmark designed by Renzo Piano, combining the National Library, Greek National Opera, and a spectacular 21-hectare hilltop park with panoramic coastal views.

History

Completed in 2016 with a €596 million donation from the Stavros Niarchos Foundation. The complex was donated to the Greek state in 2017. It has become Athens' most popular public space.
