Westerpark is a green space and cultural complex built around the former Westergasfabriek (Western Gas Factory). The renovated industrial buildings host galleries, restaurants, cinemas, and festivals.

History
The gasworks operated from 1885 to 1967. After soil remediation, the area was transformed into a park in 2003 with architecture by Kathryn Gustafson.
