The Van Gogh Museum houses the world's largest collection of works by Vincent van Gogh, with over 200 paintings, 500 drawings, and 700 letters. It is Amsterdam's most visited museum.

History
Opened in 1973 in a building designed by Gerrit Rietveld. A new wing by Kisho Kurokawa was added in 1999. The collection largely comes from Theo van Gogh's family.
