Overview
Berlin Cathedral is the largest church in the city and the most important Protestant church in Germany. Its ornate Baroque Revival exterior and massive dome dominate the Museum Island skyline.

History
Designed by Julius Raschdorff and completed in 1905 under Kaiser Wilhelm II, the cathedral was severely damaged in 1944 and only fully restored in 1993 — with a simplified dome 16 m shorter than the original.

- Sunday services: Free admission to attend services at 10:00 and 18:00 (organ concerts at 18:00).
- Climb the dome: Include the 270-step climb — the view is worth it.
