WIELS is Brussels' leading centre for contemporary art, housed in a striking 1930s Modernist former brewery designed by Adrien Blomme. It hosts ambitious rotating exhibitions by international and Belgian artists.

History
The brewery closed in 1988. After a major renovation, WIELS opened as a contemporary art centre in 2007.
