The Royal Art & History Museum (Musées Royaux d'Art et d'Histoire) holds one of Europe's largest collections of world cultures — from ancient Egypt, Greece, and Rome through medieval Europe to Art Nouveau and Art Deco decorative arts.

History

Founded in 1835, the museum moved to its current Cinquantenaire wings in 1889. Over 350,000 objects spanning 10,000 years.
