Overview

The Edge at Hudson Yards is the highest outdoor sky deck in the Western Hemisphere, cantilevered 80 feet out from the 100th floor at 345 meters, creating a thrillingly vertiginous experience.

Highlights

• Glass Floor Panels: Sections of the outdoor deck have glass floors allowing you to look straight down 100 stories to the street below.
• Angled Glass Walls: The outer walls lean outward at an angle, creating the unnerving sensation of tipping over the edge.
• City Climb: For the truly brave, an optional outdoor climbing experience ascends the exterior of the building to the apex at 387 meters.

History

Opened in March 2020 as part of the massive $25 billion Hudson Yards development — the most expensive real estate project in US history. Designed by KPF architects with the observation deck by Rockwell Group.
