Radio Kaikan is a legendary multi-story electronics and otaku culture building in Akihabara, serving as ground zero for anime figurines, trading cards, retro games, and model kits since 1962.

History

The original Radio Kaikan opened in 1962 as an electronics retail building. It was demolished and rebuilt in 2014 with a modern facade while maintaining its traditional role as Akihabara's anchor retail destination.
